Menopause, gentle and natural approach

Menopause is not a disease, but a major hormonal change. It is an exciting transformation that brings us into harmony with ourselves and our environment at the end or even during the transition.

This is the period when you literally need to take more "pause, breaks" and say NO more.

Say NO: to social events that stretch into the night, work late into the night, overtime, always go-do-bustle-fuss-fuss-be on standby.

Say NO to replace your missed main meals with fast food, sugar, chocolate, snacking, caffeine, or even alcohol. These can all worsen symptoms, give you more hot flashes, or make you depressed.

Say NO to strenuous workouts, "tiring"persons.

If possible, take mini breaks throughout the day, lie down (meditate) in a dark room for 10-15minutes, and you will see yourself recharged and resume your day.

Say YES: healthy foods, low-intensity exercise.High-intensity exercise increases cortisol levels (a stress hormone that is difficult to excrete), making it harder for you to fall asleep and feeling terribly exhausted the next day).

Say YES: drink plenty of water, listen to meditation, get massages, rest, and get enough sleep, stay in the fresh air as much as you can.

Vitamins: Omega 3, Mg, C, E, Zinc, D in winter if you have sleep problems melatonine.

Drink Eleuthero Ginseng tea or ampoule if you feel exhausted.

There are no magic pills, the magic is within you. If you follow the above, with proper nutrition, adequate amount of exercise / rest, water consumption, local herbal teas,self-reflection, if you are surrounded by positive people, temporary unpleasant symptoms will not prevail over you.

Consider asking yourself the following questions:

Have I worked and let go of painful events, memories, relationships that have a negative impact on my life? If not, do it, if necessary, ask for help.

What keeps me from being the fullest version of myself?

Does my lifestyle support me?

Do I have dreams,do I long for adventures that I have not yet fulfilled?

What are you waiting for? When, if not now?

What happens in your body?

Menopause consists of 3 stages: premenopausal stages 1-2, menopause and post menopause.

Premenopausal 1

It usually occurs between the ages of 45 and 50. The menstrual cycle becomes irregular, as the ovaries release fewer eggs, estrogen and progesterone levels begin to fluctuate(even weekly).

The symptoms experienced in this case are most reminiscent of PMS: mood swings, migraine, anxiety, binge eating, lack of concentration, irritation, trouble sleeping, frustration, waterlogging, breast tightness.

Long-suppressed feelings, frustration, anger is sure to come to the surface, mostly in the form of disturbing thoughts, you grind on them in the middle of the night.

Premenopausal 2

This stage usually begins around 50-52 years.

Most symptoms can be explained by a decrease in the hormone estrogen: hot flashes, night sweats, fatigue, anxiety, de-concentration, trouble sleeping, stiff shoulders and neck, lower back pain, dry skin, vaginal dryness, bloating, inflammation, lethargy and much more.

Hot flashes and changes in the frequency and quality of your menstrual cycle are the two main indicators that you have entered a changing age.

Menopause= In medical terms, menopause is just a borderline, the period when you haven't had your period for 12 months.

Postmenopausal

After menopause, women are often much more attuned to their inner strength and intuitive feelings than in previous years, because they are no longer vulnerable to hormone fluctuations.
